Health

For those people living without enough water it will be very hard for them to grow crops, leaving them starving.

Diseases love hotter, wetter climates and as more countries warm up we can expect to see new illnesses, previously only found in the hottest places on earth. Malaria and other insect borne diseases are expected to be able to increase their spread and range.

It has been suggested that 60% of the world will be in a malaria zone by 2100.
As flooding and habitat damage force people to leave their homes, they will carry diseases with them and pass them onto other humans.

In the long term, we could see wars breaking out, conflicts over fresh water supplies and farmland. Famines and droughts could cause movements of climate refugees who leave their homes looking for safer land.
