Training course

C-Change want lots of groups to get involved by running their own, local climate change projects. The first step for many will be to send leaders and young people to one of the project’s training days.

Under the title ‘Peer Education, Young People, and Climate Change’ these events will provide an introduction to setting up and running a peer education project along with a chance to examine the issue of climate change and how the message can be communicated. There will be ideas for projects which groups could undertake and support for those who already have something in mind.

“The day will be packed with information and training and we hope that as many groups as possible will come along and find inspiration to undertake their own climate attitude changing projects,” says Julie. “It will be suitable for young people and youth leaders and two or three people from each group are welcome. Of course there is a limit on the number of places – so book early!

The course will be run twice for Woodcraft Folk members, and once for other youth organisations. Anyone wanting further information should contact C-Change.
