About the Band

The Mysterons are a 7 piece ska fusion band based mainly in the ole New Cross scene in the depths of the dirty South East. With packed out gigs, energetic sets and good tunes the band can shake a crowd into a dancing frenzy at any location. Playing venues high in reputation like the Albany in Deptford, the well known Hatcham Social Club in New Cross and other places like Goldsmiths student union.

Why we feel strongly about climate change

It is a very pressing issue, which if we do not come to terms with soon will have serious implications.

u know i think this is probly the best unsigned band ive ever heard.... i mean ive heard the scaredy cats and that charly brown band before and the just sound like a donkey shitting grenades compared to this excellent band. and i must say. isnt their sax player handsome!hes so funny and cool.

im really not getting it how so much hate is coming out of a ONLINE battle of the band competition ... u do realise u have to meet every1 who comes in the top 5 on the day ???

Hi. Having read the comments on a number of the entries, I can't see anything more than a bit of competitive fun in the comments, some from the musicians themselves. A 'Battle of the Bands' denotes an encouragement of competitive judgment, which is presumably what participants should expect when agreeing to compete. Fans will also be more rabidly loyal than the acts & may up the tempo with provocative comments, but I think 'hate' is a touch OTT & were that the case, the competition moderators would step in. In an open & free environment, where participation is voluntary, all comments, as long as not abusive, should be welcomed & allowed.
