About the Band

We are a young, up and coming band from Leicester. We like to think we have created our own style that people can recognise us by, but we obvoiusly have taken a lot of influence from a huge number of artists. Our style is best described as Acoustic Hip-Hop Rock but we do have other influences that creep into some of our tracks.

The band consists of Drums (Owen Schofield) Bass (Matt Willars) Electric Guitar (Jack Ellis) Acoustic Guitar/vocals (Josh Myhill) and Rap Vocals (Raheel Bux).

One of our main acheivements to date is our slot on the Rising Stage at Summer Sundae 2006. We had decent crowd watching us and got a very good reception.

JUST NORRIS – "An original, laid back acoustic rock/hip-hop sound, Just Norris drew from the two distinctive genres to find a compelling direction. Rough and tender rock vocals from Josh combined with the excellent, flowing rap vocals from Raz. Well-written tracks with intelligent lyrics over some great swirling prog guitars and summery riffs they created uplifting, atmospheric rock sound with an emotional core. A tight and confident performance, they were a crowd favourite, who voted them through to the second round."

Why we feel strongly about climate change

As a band we feel pretty strongly about the state of the earth these days. We all try to do our bit to help out but I know we could all do a lot more with a bit more effort. We just want people to become more aware about these issues that affect us all and stop shying away from it. If every one does a little more that adds up to a lot.
