Fusing the uplifting, sweet sounds of indie pop with guitar riffs that will stay in your head for days, Dirty Shockwaves bring a definative unique sound to your ears.
The band formed in May 2006 and have been playing together ever since with a couple of line up changes. After doing their first cover, the popular 'Can't Stop' by 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' they went onto their own material.
Their first gig was at Hadleigh High where they played 'Can't Stop' to over 700 people much to the delight and appreciation of the audience. The band then went onto write five songs which they recorded in October 2006, forming the popular EP 'Did I Say That Out Loud?' which sold out in one month.
Learning covers along the way they have performed many gigs in the Ipswich district and have gained much experience from these.
Currently set to be recording their next ep in the summer of ’07 this is one band you don't want to miss.

Climate change affects us all and no matter what you say it is the little things that count, like turning off lights in the house, restricting use of the car, wearing jumpers instead of turning on the heating. You have to go out of your way a little bit to preserve the world for our generation and future generations.
