C-Change has been organising events for young people around the country over the past months, with many still to come. All the latest details here...
On Friday 25th January, C-Change is hosting a climate change day of action at and around City Hall in London. Young people from across London are attending a conference about what steps we can all take to tackle climate change.
Packed with workshops, debates, discussion and expert advice from around the country we will work together to build a picture of our ideal future and how best to achieve it. We will demand that those in power today help us achieve our tomorrow.
An information tent for young people about climate change. Step inside for a climate change experience to change your life. The tent will be crammed with information, activities, tea, sofas, crafts, games, pretty things, graffiti, and a chance for you to find out what climate change is really all about.
This winter C-Change is touring a VJ set to visit 4 cities around the UK. Come along and dance away whilst watching climate change in AV format! Every night a different mix of images and video will be woven together to the music to show climate change as you've never seen before. Lots of C-Change goodies to enjoy and you’ll meet cool people.
Party for the Planet was held on Saturday 7th July; a fun day for everyone to come together and help make a difference.
There were activities, performers, games, music, interactive instillations, people and stalls on how we can tackle climate change. It was a celebration of the planet we live on and how important it is that we take care of it.
C-Change has kicked off its awareness campaign with the Battle of the Bands musician competition backed by hottest UK indie band Klaxons and in collaboration with The Premises Studios and supported by Pulse Rated.
Different from your average Battle of the Bands, this event will strive to power it’s music by renewable energy. The finest unsigned bands of 2007 will be selected online by anyone who wishes to care, and the top five will play on stage - Clapham Common Bandstand in London - at a free concert on 7 July 2007
The top prize which will go to the winning band chosen by our music industry judging panel is a day’s recording laying down their music track at The Premises solar powered recording studio.
We've had some problems with people trying to vote more than once so we have had to restrict voting to one vote per IP address - please read this blog post for an explanation.
C-Change will be helping young people all over England to make films about climate change to show to their peers. Films will be submitted to the Coop Young Film Maker’s Festival which hosts hundreds of films each year, where C-Change will also run workshops. C-Change will then strive to show the best climate change videos to thousands of young people throughout England at different events and online. On the Film Festival page here you can find help with how to make your very own film.
