About the Band
The Silver Skins are a band from Harrow in North West London, who write and play their own material, consisting of four people, all 15-16 years of age. The band has been going for almost 4 years and has played gigs in various venues.
Some of our influences include Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, AC/DC and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Looking to get into a studio soon and record an EP and also to get as much experience playing live as we possibly can and hopefully get noticed by some people along the way.
Why we feel strongly about climate change
A significant change in climate could result in a complete change in life as we see it today, for ourselves, and for generations to come.
People need to become aware of this very real threat and must be encouraged and taught to make a difference. C-Change and other organisations like it are the start of this new state of awareness.
We need to work together so that we can make people see that what we are doing to our planet is wrong and it that must stop before it is too late.
