About the Band
Six members, and were all 16. Weve been together for about 2 years, and play all our own material. The six members:
Russel Evans: Trombone
Hugh Parry: Trumpet
Tom Barry: Guitar
Sam Dunning: Bass
Fred Harper: Percussion
Richard Davies: Drum Kit
As with most bands, you cant pin down a specific artist for our influences, so we'll try genres: Funk, Jazz, Ska, Rock, Classical, Brass Band, Latin Jazz, Flamenco + some damn funky breaks!
Weve been gigging ever since the start around the mid Wales area(Rock and Roll baby!) but have also played down in Cardiff and will shortly be playing in Birmingham, and hopefully down in London, if you guys will have us!
We recently won an all Wales ensemble competition, and now were trying to break England.
Why we feel strongly about climate change
The thing about climate change is, its all about young people and teenagers. Everyday you see fat politicians on tv going on and on about what their going to do about it, and nothing gets done. And whats more, when the effects of global warming come about, their going to be indoors and old, and were going to be the ones suffering because of their polluting and not tackling the problem. So its us guys that are gonnna have to act, and act now, otherwise its our lives and our kids that are gonna suffer. DONT LET THE LAZY POLITICIANS MESS THINGS UP AGAIN!!! TAKE ACTION!!!
