About the Band
Agent Octane are a 4-piece Metal/Thrash band who have been playing together for around 2 years. Influences include killswitch engage, chimaira, fear factory, queens of the stone age and classic rock & metal.
The music is defined by thumping drum beats with thrashing guitars & bass and screaming vocals, which is contrasted by clear, intricate and melodic sections.
The vocals are usually politically driven and we strongly believe that music is a great way to deliver a message. We also want people to enjoy and move to our music.
Why we feel strongly about climate change
From day one we decided that we could use the band to help charities and deliver messages to our audience. We've played a number of charity gigs as well as attended some fundraisers outside of the band.
We feel strongly about climate change as we think it could ruin the world. It's a shame to see the world, which is still beautiful, being ruined by man a little bit more everyday. And we're not just saying that- we've been known to carry around our kit on push bikes!
